Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for sales of residential windows and doors.  You will need to:

• Estimate residential windows and doors as required, doing takeoffs from Architectural drawings or customer drawings or call-in requests. Making sure you understand what is required for getting quotation out.
• If drawings required for job must do same, making sure customer understands what you are bidding.
• Will need to understand the product you are selling, in addition to understand what the competition is selling
• Meet with customers as necessary maintaining a good relationship with them.
• Making sure customers are satisfied on all projects, following up with our install crews to make sure going well.
• Write up concise Work Order tickets in detail describing work, location, contact names and phone numbers.
• Handle customer complaints quickly and in a helpful and positive manner.
• Plan and coordinate timely completion of all projects
• Responsible for ordering all material for timely completion of projects
• Visit project sites if necessary to confirm conditions before ordering
• Review all jobs and schedule same with Operations Manager
• All billing to be done on a timely basis, service orders to be billed within 7 days of work being completed.
• Maintain and update backlog of work on a monthly basis and report same to Accounting
• Meet with Outside Sales Rep and others as necessary
• Other duties will include assisting in answering phones if necessary.
• Previous sales experience is preferred.
• Will require approximately 45 hours per week.
